First Game of 2025!

The beginning of 2025 was rocky. There were quite a few things that happened outside of my control. One thing that was in my control was pulling out my camera and attending my first sporting event of 2025, Alma College Women’s Basketball! It was a great to have students back on campus after Winter Break and the atmosphere was positive, ready for a new semester and a clean slate. My approach for this game was to try some new angles I haven’t captured before. I have also traditionally shot basketball with a zoom lens. While I had my zoom lens with me for this game and did shoot about fifty percent of the game with that lens, I shot half of the game with a wide angle prime lens.
